Curling Together Since 1964

The Michener Hill Curling Rink was built in April 1964 by trainees and vocational instructors from the Alberta School Hospital as a work project. In 1985, the independent leagues curling at the rink united to form the Michener Hill Curling Association, which leased the building from the government. In 2003, the name was changed to Michener Hill Curling Club. Around this time, members from the Springbrook Curling Club, who had lost their rink, joined us. Today, we are a strong and vibrant entity in the curling community.

Promote Your Business Here

The Michener Hill Curling Club offers advertising and sponsorship opportunities to help promote your business. Your advertisement will reach thousands throughout the curling season via our weekly leagues, daytime school programs, and private rentals.

Available Advertising Options:

  • Scoreboard signs: two prime scoreboard signage locations available. Cost $800 per sign (advertiser responsible for having the sign produced).
  • In-ice signs: multiple spots are available for your signage in the ice. Prime locations include at each hogline, and the end line around the house. Cost $450 per sign, which includes a sign at each end of the sheet (advertiser responsible for having signs produced). Deadline for confirming in-ice signage is September 15 (so it can be ready for installation when the ice goes in)!
  • Wall signs: multiple spots are available for your 4×8 foot coroplast wall, clearly visible to everyone on the ice and in the lounge. Cost is $350 per sign (advertiser responsible for having the sign produced).
